Michael Carrig - 16

Michael loves to play guitar, read and write and thinks he might want to have a career as a writer. John Cassavetes is one of Michael’s favorite filmmakers and is what got him interested in film. His favorite films include Shadows by Cassavetes and Ran by Kurosawa. Michael would like to attend either University of Chicago, Brown University, or Columbia University in New York.

Margarita Fedovova –- 15

Margarita was born in Moscow, Russia. She now attends Jones College Prep as a Freshman. Margarita likes to watch television, draw, and make her own clothes. Her favorite film is The Breakfast Club. She loves watching movies and has recently been getting more and more interested in ideas for her own films. Margarita isn’t sure exactly where she would like to attend college, but she thinks she might want to be a fashion designer and maybe a makeup artist.

Moira O'Neil - 14

Moira says that what got her interested film was her mother and her couch. Her favorite film is Brazil and she enjoys drawing pictures, criticizing things, and frolicking. Moira hasn’t decided exactly where she wants to go to school, but is thinking about Columbia College, ISU or University of Chicago.

Georgia Walker –- 15

Georgia was born in Dublin, Ireland along with her twin sister Cyan. As far as what college to attend or what to do as a career, Georgia is pretty undecided. Right now she likes to knit, watch movies and hang out with her mom. Her favorite film is Barbarella. Georgia is a Freshman at Jones College Prep.

Cyan Walker –- 15

Cyan was born in Dublin, Ireland eight minutes before her sister Georgia. Cyan has watched a ton of movies and that is what got her interested in film production. She and Georgia both worked at Street Level Youth Media and produced a PSA this past summer. She thinks she might want to go to VCU for college and possibly teach cabinet-making as a career. Some of Cyan’s favorite movies are Top Hat, Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

Ashley Slupski

Ashley is a witch baby accordion player that mumbles too much and makes terrible documentary films. She aches to have a green Mohawk and dragonfly wings.

Amber Slupski

Amby is an uncool freshman-almost-junior who likes to apply endless amounts of makeup and takes pretty photos of herself. Elle parle francais.
