Screenings - Free to the Public

The festival will take place over three days on June 16th, 17th, and 18th. Films will be screened at The Film Row Cinema on the Columbia College Campus. The Future Filmmakers Festival will also showcase this year's winners at other locations throughout the city.

The Filmmakers Ball

Open to all filmmakers attending the Festival, on Saturday night, June 17th this exclusive Filmmakers Ball will be a night to remember. Sponsored by IFP Chicago, Getty Images, and Starbucks Coffee. The Conway Center, Ground Floor, 1104 S. Wabash.

Workshops - Free and limited only to all filmmakers attending the Festival

On Saturday June 17th, the Festival will be hosting workshops and an expo from 11am - 3pm highlighting various youth media organizations and community media centers from all across the country.

Multiple workshops will be conducted various topics concerning youth media including directing narrative film, as well as film promotion/marketing/distribution.

Future Filmmakers can register in advance for these free workshops via email in May to take advantage of these awesome and informative How-To Workshops for Future Filmmakers.

Awards

The Future Filmmakers Festival will award over $1,000 in prize money to the winners of this year's festival. Prizes will be awarded to the best film in each category. In addition, Columbia College of Chicago will offer a partial scholarship prize and CITF will present an award to the best Chicagoland Filmmaker.
